🧾 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will be expected to perform a variety of duties related to fare collection, customer service, and administrative support. These include:

💰 Cash Handling & Ticket Sales

  • Sell tickets and smart cards to commuters
  • Manage daily ticket sales transactions accurately
  • Handle cash responsibly and ensure correct balancing at the end of each shift
  • Prepare and organize money for banking deposits

📊 Record Keeping & Reporting

  • Maintain and complete a cashbook accurately
  • Capture passenger information using Excel spreadsheets
  • Compile and submit monthly reports
  • Ensure all financial records are properly documented

📁 Administration & Compliance

  • Archive all relevant documents for audit purposes
  • Maintain proper filing systems for easy record retrieval
  • Assist with administrative duties related to special bus hire services

📞 Customer Service & Communication

  • Respond to public enquiries about fares and transport services
  • Assist customers who visit the office with complaints or queries
  • Answer telephonic enquiries and refer issues to relevant departments
  • Provide timely feedback on outstanding enquiries

🧹 Workplace Maintenance

  • Ensure the cashier office is always clean and organized
