**Job Description**
As a Government Cleaner, you will maintain cleanliness in various government facilities, playing a vital role in upholding a professional and safe workspace.
**Responsibilities**
– Perform general housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
– Clean and sanitize assigned areas, such as restrooms, offices, and meeting rooms
– Empty trash cans and dispose of waste and debris
– Wipe down mirrors, glass surfaces, and windows
– Maintain cleanliness in common areas like hallways, stairwells, and lobbies
– Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations
**Qualifications**
– Minimum Grade 10 (or equivalent)
– Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Good physical stamina for manual labor
– Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools is a plus
– Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed
