**Job Overview**
The Office Administrator will provide essential administrative support within the Human Resource Management and Development environment. The role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing documents, and ensuring efficient operations for the Human Resources Directorate.

**Key Responsibilities**
– Schedule appointments and maintain an electronic diary, ensuring legislative and key dates are tracked with reminders for compliance.
– Coordinate business travel and accommodation arrangements.
– Plan and prepare documentation for meetings, arrange venues and refreshments, and record meeting proceedings.
– Accurately record and promptly convey messages to the Human Resources Directorate.
– Prioritize tasks received from the Human Resources Directorate.
– Type correspondence, reports, minutes, presentations, and spreadsheets using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, based on handwritten notes or proceedings.
– Prepare and distribute documents (hard copy or electronic) as requested, including meeting distribution packs.
– Source information as required by the Human Resources Directorate.

**Requirements**
– National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Level 4.
– Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration/Management or related field (advantageous).
– 1–2 years of relevant experience in office management and administration within a Human Resource Management and Development environment.
– Knowledge of applicable HR legislation and procedures.
– Strong planning, organizing, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
