## Your Role
As a vital contributor, you’ll help deliver our Customer Charter, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while optimizing aftermarket profitability. You’ll provide top-tier service aligned with customer expectations and support all key functions within the parts warehouse. Your work will ensure the dealership adheres to the GVS process across the “Planning,” “On Arrival,” and “Dealer to Customer and Follow-Up” phases.
### Reporting
This role reports to the Parts Controller.
## Key Responsibilities
### Receiving/Inbound
– Oversee goods receipt in compliance with Volvo procedures.
– Ensure accurate receipt of parts against documentation, meeting KPI time standards.
– Log discrepancies in the GDS system, noting part numbers and descriptions for non-conforming parts.
– Bin parts according to system allocations, not label allocations.
### Outbound
– Process customer orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution per Volvo standards.
– Update the system post-authorization.
– Verify correct parts and quantities are dispatched as per invoices.
– Provide timely parts delivery to workshop technicians once orders are processed.
### Credit Notes
– Review and sign off on credit notes for processing, ensuring proper filing and storage.
– Follow correct procedures for credits, such as prohibiting returns of electrical parts.
### Perpetual Stock Counts and Bin Verifications
– Conduct daily perpetual counts based on set warehouse volume quantities.
– Investigate discrepancies thoroughly, ensuring authorized system updates.
– Verify all adjustments before updating the system.
### Housekeeping
– Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, both inside and out.
– Ensure proper storage and binning of parts.
– Facilitate timely waste collection and secure the perimeter.
### Exchange Parts
– Verify customer exchange parts meet agreed standards (per manual).
– Manage physical receiving, storage, and preparation of supplier/core returns.
– Ensure proper packing and labeling of core parts for return to PDC.
### Health and Safety
– Enforce compliance with Volvo’s health and safety regulations for all warehouse personnel.
## Qualifications & Experience
We’re looking for dreamers who aim high and grow with us. You’ll bring:
– Matric / Grade 12.
– Diploma in Warehouse Management or at least three years of warehousing experience.
