Join our team as a VAS Sales Ambassador, where your mission is twofold: elevate the customer experience and drive sales of Media and Insurance products. You’ll be the trusted advisor customers rely on for tailored solutions—delivered with integrity, enthusiasm, and thoughtful professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
1. Champion Customer‑Centric VAS Sales
- Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting a memorable in‑store experience grounded in exceptional service.
- Proactively identify customer needs—both new and returning customers—and recommend Media and Insurance products that deliver real value.
- Actively track your sales performance, consistently striving to meet and exceed personal targets.
2. Drive Sales with Integrity
- Pursue fresh sales opportunities by identifying cross‑sell and up‑sell possibilities during customer visits.
- Handle objections thoughtfully, ensuring customers feel heard and retained.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards during every interaction. You comply fully with both the National Credit Act (NCA) and POPI (Protection of Personal Information) guidelines, guaranteeing responsible, transparent selling and data protection.
3. Build Relationships & Influence
- Foster strong rapport with customers and colleagues—inside and outside the store—to grow a network of satisfied clients.
- Earn trust through consistent, professional conduct and clear communication.
- Actively participate in team discussions and initiatives, inspiring others by sharing best practices and successes.
4. Embrace a Growth Mindset
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and urgency in taking on new responsibilities or challenging sales targets.
- Adapt quickly to changes and embrace training opportunities—including online courses—to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Foster a continual improvement spirit by regularly seeking ways to enhance processes and customer engagement.
5. Adaptable Schedule & Store Environment
- Be prepared to work a flexible retail schedule (including evenings and weekends) to align with peak business periods and customer demands.
- Maintain a welcoming, well‑organized store environment that promotes sales of VAS products.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent formal qualification.
- Proven success in a sales environment, preferably within retail.
- Demonstrated ability to engage customers and close sales.
Desirable (but not mandatory):
- Experience selling insurance or media‑related products.
- Strong computer skills, especially proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
