🎓 Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 10, Standard 8, ABET Level 4, or equivalent qualification
  • No work experience required
  • Basic communication and literacy skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks
  • Knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment
  • Ability to work physically for long hours
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Basic understanding of occupational health and safety

🧽 Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will perform various cleaning and maintenance duties in government offices and court buildings.

General Cleaning Duties

  • Sweeping offices, passages, floors, and pavements
  • Scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Dusting and polishing furniture
  • Emptying and washing dustbins
  • Cleaning windows, doors, and walls
  • Vacuuming carpets and office floors
  • Stripping and polishing floors

Cleaning Toilets and Bathrooms

  • Deep cleaning toilets and basins
  • Cleaning wall tiles and toilet floors
  • Refilling toilet paper dispensers
  • Refilling hand washing soap containers
  • Maintaining hygiene in restroom areas

Kitchen Cleaning Duties

  • Washing kitchen floors
  • Cleaning kitchen utensils
  • Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas
  • Assisting with tea and coffee during meetings and forums

Safety and Maintenance Duties

  • Reporting defects and damages in the building
  • Informing supervisors about faulty lights, locks, or hazards
  • Alerting staff about wet or slippery floors
  • Supporting the general safety of the building
