🛠️ MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Porter, your daily responsibilities will include:

• 🚑 Transporting patients using stretchers or wheelchairs:
  • From wards to departments
  • From departments back to wards
• 🛏️ Handling hospital equipment, including:
  • Collecting and returning stretchers and wheelchairs
  • Ensuring equipment is available where needed
• 🧼 Cleaning and maintaining equipment:
  • Washing stretchers and wheelchairs regularly
• ⚰️ Mortuary-related duties:
  • Transporting deceased patients to the mortuary
  • Assisting with the release of bodies after hours and weekends to funeral services
• 📞 Supporting staff with communication when required
