Job Description:
Right now, we are searching for people to join our team as Government Cleaners who will be dependable and dedicated to their work. As a Government Cleaner, it will be your responsibility to ensure that various government agencies spread across all nine provinces of South Africa are kept in a state of impeccable cleanliness and hygiene. The atmosphere in which government employees and guests operate will remain hygienic and secure because of your involvement.
Responsibilities:
-You will be in charge of doing standard housekeeping duties like vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
-Sanitize and clean any space that has been delegated to you, such as the conference rooms, offices, and restrooms.
-Trash the waste and any other unwanted items in the trash cans after cleaning them out.
-Clean out all window windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
-Common areas, including lobbies, stairwells, and hallways, must always be maintained clean.
– Comply with the prescribed cleaning techniques and procedures.
-Make sure you abide by all health and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
-Must have finished at least Grade 10 (or equivalent) in school.
-Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferable, though not necessary.
-The ability to work both individually and together.
-Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness when completing tasks.
-outstanding ability to organize and manage time.
-Exceptional strength and endurance for manual labor.
-Having familiarity with cleaning agents and equipment is beneficial.
-The flexibility to work different shifts when needed, including weekends and federal holidays.
