### Social Grant Administrator at SASSA

**Position Overview**
The Social Grant Administrator at the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is tasked with managing social grant processes at the local office level. This role ensures accurate and efficient processing of grant applications, provides exceptional customer support, and performs administrative duties in compliance with relevant legislation, including the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Section 57. The position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality service to applicants while supporting SASSA’s operational and equity objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
– Administer social grants at the local office, ensuring seamless operations.
– Screen and process grant applications with accuracy and attention to detail.
– Input grant application data into the system correctly.
– Deliver outstanding customer service to applicants throughout the application process.
– Manage grant-related documentation and perform various administrative tasks.
– Conduct quality checks on grant applications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
– Adhere to PFMA Section 57 requirements and other relevant regulations.

**Basic Requirements**
– Matric/Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
