🎯 Key Purpose:
This learnership is designed to provide foundational skills and knowledge across all major areas of distribution within the Wholesale and Retail sector. It equips learners to:
- Understand core business and operational principles,
- Perform practical distribution tasks,
- Increase effectiveness and employability in distribution or other business environments.
📚 Key Learning Areas / Exposure:
- Communication in the distribution environment (reading, writing, verbal)
- Basic mathematics: rational/irrational numbers, number systems
- Receiving and maintaining stock
- Safe stock delivery and stock management systems
- Administrative functions for deliveries and receipts
- Picking, packing, binning, and moving stock
- Financial impact of stock and loss control
- Stock take and warehouse flow management
- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and emergency procedures
- Customer service and housekeeping standards

✅ Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) with Maths and Science
- Experience: No prior experience required
- Advantage: Tertiary qualification in Logistics (optional)
