Minimum Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Grade 10 or equivalent (SAQA-recognised)
- Literacy & Numeracy: Basic ability to read, write, and perform simple calculations
- Batho Pele Principles: Familiar with public service delivery values and customer-first mindset
- Cleaning Knowledge: Understanding of cleaning products, materials, equipment, and operating heavy-duty machines
- Communication & Interpersonal: Strong verbal communication, able to work under pressure, maintain client focus, and collaborate with a team
- Work Discipline: Reliable, punctual, productive, with loyalty and positive behaviour toward clients and colleagues
- Health & Safety: Awareness and adherence to workplace safety and cleaning environment protocols

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Office & Facility Cleaning: Sweep, scrub, mop, dust, polish floors, walls, windows, and clean toilets and corridors; remove waste from all areas, including storerooms and boardrooms
- Meeting Support: Dusting, emptying bins, and providing drinking water during meetings; refilling aqua coolers
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain cleaning machines; clean, store, and report faulty equipment
- Kitchen & Utensil Cleaning: Wash kitchen utensils, including general kitchen areas
- Restroom Management: Scrub toilets, refill toilet paper, soap, and other supplies
- Vacuuming: Use vacuum machines for cleaning carpets and floors; maintain the machine in good condition
- Material Handling: Keep cleaning materials organized, in good supply, and safely stored

Work Conditions
