Job Summary

The General Worker will be responsible for maintaining the Garden Centre’s presentation, ensuring proper plant care, and supporting operational tasks across the nursery and retail areas. Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker at Starke Ayres Rosebank, your duties will include:

1. Plant Care & Watering

• Assist with watering various plants throughout the nursery.
• Monitor moisture levels in plant beds, pots, and container displays.
• Report signs of plant stress, pest infestation, or disease.

2. Stock Handling, Restocking & Repacking

• Assist with unpacking stock deliveries.
• Repack, label, and organize items as directed.
• Keep shelves and plant displays neatly stocked.

3. Grounds Keeping & Cleanliness

• Clean and maintain the Garden Centre’s outdoor and indoor areas.
• Ensure the parking lot, walkways, pathways, and exterior verges remain tidy.
• Sweep and blow debris from allocated sections.

4. Nursery Stock Support
