VAS ADMIN CLERK – BOXER SUPERSTORES HEAD OFFICE (WESTVILLE)

Boxer Superstores, one of South Africa’s fastest-growing and most trusted retail groups, is seeking a highly organised, analytical, and detail-driven VAS Admin Clerk to join the Value-Added Services (VAS) Department at the Head Office in Westville.

This role plays a crucial part in supporting the VAS operational network by ensuring accurate data handling, reconciling supplier reports, assisting stores with value-added products, managing VAS stock and documentation, and communicating with suppliers, business stakeholders and store operations teams.


Purpose of the Role

The VAS Admin Clerk acts as the administrative link between the Value-Added Services team, suppliers, store managers, customers and Boxer’s internal stakeholders. The role ensures efficient processing of VAS products such as:

  • Gift Vouchers (GVS)
  • Lay-bye cards
  • Pension payout services
  • RICA and sim-card activations
  • Device and product registrations
  • Digital top-up services

The incumbent will be responsible for upholding administrative excellence, accuracy, compliance and service delivery across the Boxer network.

  • Act as the primary administrative contact between Boxer’s VAS department and external service providers.

  • Assist stores with RICA registrations and troubleshoot device issues.

  • Liaise with regional managers and financial institutions for pension payout schedules.
  • Assist with planning and logistics to ensure smooth community payout operations.

  • Communicate product changes, updates, stock requirements, and feedback to stores.

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly VAS performance reports.

Minimum Requirements


Education

  • Diploma in Finance or Accounting (Essential)
  • Advanced Certificate in administration or financial support (Advantageous)

Experience

  • At least 1 year experience in administrative or finance support roles
  • Experience working with payments, reconciliations, or data processing
