🔎 OVERVIEW

Motus Corporation is currently offering an exciting permanent opportunity for a Debtors Administrator at Toyota Bedfordview. This position is ideal for candidates with administrative and finance experience who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial records.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager and will play a key role in ensuring that debtor accounts are managed efficiently, invoices are processed accurately, and all financial records are up to date.

🎯 PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The main objective of this role is to:

• Ensure all authorized invoices are accurately captured and processed on time
• Maintain proper financial records and reconciliations
• Support effective debtors and supplier management
• Assist with financial tracking and reporting within the dealership

This role is critical in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of the business.

🧾 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Debtors Administrator, your daily duties will include:

• Verifying and checking EFT payments against bank statements
• Capturing daily receipts on financial systems (e.g., Kerridge)
• Following up with customers regarding outstanding balances or shortfalls
• Preparing schedules for any discrepancies in payments
• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Handling and resolving debtor-related queries
• Liaising with attorneys regarding legal debt collection matters
• Preparing monthly staff deduction schedules
• Monitoring bank statements for:
  • Unpaid cheques
  • Credit card reversals
  • Fleet management re-debits
• Temporarily supporting Credit Controllers when required
• Conducting credit checks on new applications
• Performing any additional administrative duties as assigned
