Purpose of the Role

The Assistant General Worker is responsible for providing general site support, operational assistance, housekeeping, and safety compliance to ensure efficient and safe execution of mining operations.

1. Operational Support

• Work closely with site supervisors, operators, and team members to support daily mining, tailings, or infrastructure activities.
• Assist with completing operational tasks that contribute to achieving production goals and contractual targets.

Minimum Requirements

✔ Education

• Grade 12 / Matric OR equivalent
• Grade 10 accepted in some instances if combined with relevant experience

✔ Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in:

  • Industrial general labour
  • Tailings operations
• Experience in heavy-duty labour or outdoor fieldwork is advantageous.
