DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Driving the bus at a safe speed in accordance with the National Roads Traffic Acts and regulations;
• Taking responsibility for the safety of the visitors when loading, unloading, and transporting them to and from various sites;
• Traveling with visitors along a pre-planned route according to a set time schedule;m
• Controlling the bus’s heating and ventilation systems for the comfort of its occupants;
• Verifying the mechanical, fuel, oil, and water conditions before completing the daily task;
• Maintaining operating documentation and creating basic reports;
Notifying the unit manager of any flaws or issues with the vehicle;
Complying with maintenance schedule orders;
Reporting delays or accidents;
Daily signing of log books to maintain operational records;
Helping passengers, including the elderly or disabled
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Students in grades 10–12.
• A driver’s license code 14 that is appropriate, valid, and unendorsed with PrDP
• Completing a driving course and basic first aid training.
• Knowledge of safety laws and regulations;
• Five years of verified experience operating both light and heavy vehicles;
• No history of driving while intoxicated
