The Johannesburg-based Intercare Sandton Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Hospital is looking to hire a care worker. The roles are designed to assist the nursing staff in their work by offering competent and effective patient care.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• to always provide high-quality, moral nursing care.
• to collaborate as a team under a trained nurse’s guidance.
• Make sure to use supplies and machinery efficiently to avoid wasting them.
• must accurately document all patient interactions and interventions on the relevant paperwork.
• Assist medical personnel and nursing workers as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Careworker Certificate
• in Grade 12
• with a minimum of two years of experience
• Senior caregiving or a related experience is necessary.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communication;
• Ability to follow directions consistently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team;
• Willingness to work day, night, and flexible shifts in accordance with the unit’s operational requirements
