The Driver Messenger bears the responsibility of guaranteeing that the South African government is provided with dependable and secure transportation services. This function’s major duty is to transport employees, visitors, and government officials to different sites while ensuring their comfort and safety. Apart from operating a vehicle, the Driver Messenger is also accountable for carrying out messenger duties, which could involve delivering official paperwork, parcels, and additional items as instructed.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure that all traffic laws and safety regulations are followed in order to get guests, employees, and government representatives to their destinations promptly and safely.
-Ensure that the government vehicle is spotless, well-maintained, and presents well by having it regularly examined, serviced, and repaired as necessary.
-Adhere to the scheduled routes and timings, adjusting as necessary to accommodate unforeseen circumstances and guarantee that everyone arrives on schedule.
– Assist in loading and unloading goods, luggage, and other items when requested.
– To ensure that others are having a nice time, always act with professionalism and politeness when conversing with them.
-It is imperative to adhere to security protocols and ensure the well-being of individuals by enforcing regulations on seat belt usage and adhering to government security guidelines.
