Role Overview:

Ensuring that regional payroll data is processed smoothly and that all employees are paid on time is the primary goal of this function. This entails following defined policies and procedures while processing payroll inputs and addressing payroll queries, making sure that legal obligations and corporate governance standards are met. The perfect applicant will be a cooperative team player who is prepared to assist coworkers when things get busy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve timely output and fulfill all deadlines for payroll processing.
  • Maintain accuracy in payroll and manage payroll processes under duress.
  • In close collaboration with regional teams, monitor, disseminate, and confirm payroll inputs.
  • Keep up-to-date understanding of all business policies, procedures, and working circumstances.
  • Take payroll inputs from the firm and verify them to make sure they are accurate.
  • Assist with backup payroll controller modifications.
  • Provide pay stubs to all regions and respond to payroll inquiries in accordance with the service level agreement.
  • Verify variance reports to guarantee the accuracy of payroll data.
  • When managing payroll inputs, pay close attention to every last detail.
  • Uphold confidentiality and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Send the payroll controller your daily trackers as soon as possible.
  • Handle all payroll inputs, such as promotions, terminations, and new workers.

Skills and Attributes:

  • thorough understanding of pertinent legal issues, including PAYE.
  • Good liaison and communication abilities.

Qualifications:

  • A Grade 12 certificate with 1-3 years of payroll experience.
  • extensive familiarity with SAP and HR systems.
  • knowledge of payroll regulations and practices.
