**Job Description**
The Truck Driver will operate a Code 14 (EC) heavy truck to deliver flowers, ensuring the vehicle is maintained, deliveries are completed on time, and goods are handled safely. The role demands knowledge of road legislation, physical stamina, and a passion for driving.
**Job Duties and Key Responsibilities**
– Drive a Code 14 (EC) truck for flower deliveries across short and long distances
– Perform regular truck maintenance checks and ensure upkeep
– Complete delivery letters and documentation accurately
– Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times and requirements
– Follow delivery routines and networks to ensure efficiency
**Job Requirements**
**Critical Requirements**:
– Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license with PDP
– Familiarity with routes and road legislation
– Ability to handle long-distance driving and extended hours
– Passion for truck driving

**Employment Details**
– **Start Date**: 9 March 2025
– **Position Type**:
– **Permanent**: 45 hours per week, with 12-hour driving sessions
– **Temporary (Optional)**: Mainly Monday to Wednesday mornings, approximately 27 hours
– **Working Hours**: Structured around driving and accumulated work hours
– **Leave**:
– 1 day of leave for every 17 days worked
– 30 sick leave days in a 3-year cycle
– **Notice Period**:
– 1 week if employed for less than 6 months
– 2 weeks if employed for 6 months to 1 year
– 4 weeks if employed for over 1 year
– **Compensation**:
