Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods, equipment, and passengers according to the daily schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and clean.
- Drive responsibly and in compliance with South African traffic laws and Tsebo safety standards.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel slips, and delivery records.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed within set timeframes.
- Provide professional and courteous service to clients and colleagues at all times.
- Represent Tsebo professionally in full uniform and uphold the company’s image.
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Johannesburg routes and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and company procedures.
- Professional, punctual, and service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid South African Driver’s License:
- Code 10 (Passenger Vehicles) or Code 14 (Commercial Vehicles).
- Public Driver’s Permit (PDP) – essential for transporting clients and passengers.
- Minimum 3 years’ driving experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Driving Certification will be an added advantage.
