Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the precise and timeous execution of daily data capturing functions, including:

1. Invoice Processing & Financial Data Capture

• Capture supplier invoices accurately and efficiently according to organisational standards.
• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders to ensure alignment and prevent discrepancies.
• Capture and process credit notes.
• Ensure invoices are submitted for payment within agreed departmental timelines.
• Follow up directly with buyers regarding outstanding invoices and missing documents.

2. Stock & Job Management

• Manage stock allocations assigned to your portfolio.
• Correct and update stock records linked to cancelled, completed, or delivered manufacturing jobs.
• Support the design and production teams by ensuring accurate data flow across multiple systems.

3. Operational Coordination & Reporting

• Handle large volumes of data while maintaining high accuracy levels.
• Work systematically and methodically to meet strict deadlines.
• Liaise professionally with suppliers to resolve invoice or data discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end activities and ensure all required reporting is completed on time.
• Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this permanent Data Capturer position, applicants must meet the following essentials:

Required

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Proven relevant work experience in data capturing, finance admin, or a similar environment
• Strong Excel knowledge (this is essential and non‑negotiable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred but Not Essential

Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:

• Manufacturing or retail industry exposure
• Accounting knowledge or finance‑related experience
