Purpose of the Role

The CIT Driver plays a mission‑critical role in transporting client money safely between collection points, branches, and secure storage locations. You will be responsible for driving armored vehicles, maintaining radio communication, preventing incidents, identifying risks, and ensuring strict adherence to security protocols at all times.

This position requires a high level of alertness, physical readiness, tactical knowledge, situational awareness, and unwavering reliability.

Minimum Requirements

To ensure the safety and professionalism of CIT operations, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Mandatory Certifications & Legal Requirements

  • Clear criminal record
  • Clear credit record
  • Valid Driver’s License + PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
  • PSIRA Grade C accreditation
  • SAPS competency certificate
  • CIT Certificate

Specialized Training

  • Completed firearm training (handgun & rifle)
  • Tactical combat training
  • Advanced defensive driving or tactical driving training is advantageous

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Cash‑In‑Transit driving
  • Proven experience in security operations or related high‑risk environments
  • Strong track record of reliability, professionalism & safety compliance
