We are currently seeking a dedicated General Worker to join our South Africa team.
Position: General Worker – Vinliner Manufacturing
As a General Worker, you will support the manufacturing of Vinliners, material handling, and ground operations including the movement, storage, and packaging of goods. This role requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards, as well as alignment with DHL’s corporate values and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Meet daily and hourly production targets.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure smooth workflow for the next production stages.
- Report any equipment breakdowns to the team leader promptly.
- Assist in other operational areas when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at your workstation.
- Participate in fire safety training and respond to fire-related emergencies appropriately.
- Follow all company policies, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
- Vocational, technical, or specialized training (Advantageous)
- Up to 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team player mentality
