Job Description
As part of this learnership, learners will be placed in the Customer Engagement and Acquisitions & Scheduling departments where they will:
Administrative Functions
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and data capturing.
- Prepare and assist with reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Manage departmental correspondence including emails, telephone calls, and in-person interactions.
- Attend theoretical sessions one day per week (or as scheduled) to support workplace learning.
Customer Engagement Responsibilities
- Act as a one-stop call resolution agent, handling incoming calls and resolving customer queries in line with company SOPs and standards.
- Contribute to achieving departmental Abandonment Rate and Service Level targets.
- Capture and update client data accurately during live calls.
- Ensure high-quality customer service in a pressurised environment.
- Follow up on outstanding client queries to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accurate call statistics and records according to company guidelines.
- Use the post-call service rating system to improve customer satisfaction levels.
Client Support & Retention
- Interpret financial systems and assist clients with basic financial and legal queries.
- Promote effective customer retention through professional query resolution.
- Demonstrate tolerance, empathy, and professionalism when dealing with complaints, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Assist with post-installation testing, unit-related investigations, and first-line technical support for Tracker units.
Operational Responsibilities
- Adhere to call schedules determined by the Telephony system.
- Manage electronic communications within the Customer Service Division according to SLA requirements.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and duties assigned by supervisors to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this learnership, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Citizenship: South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Age: Between 18 – 35 years old.
- Education: Matric/Grade 12 with:
- English Language: Level 4/D symbol.
- Mathematics OR Maths Literacy: Level 3/E symbol.
- Employment Status: Currently unemployed and not studying full-time.
- Other Requirements:
- No criminal record.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a structured and professional environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
