As a Direct Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in building customer relationships, driving sales, and ensuring service excellence. If you are hardworking, persuasive, and eager to grow within a recognised brand, this role is for you.


Key Purpose of the Role

The Direct Sales Agent will be responsible for promoting, upselling, and cross-selling Tracker’s range of products and services. You will manage customer interactions through outbound calls, follow-ups, and lead generation. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving and surpassing sales quotas.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Sales & Customer Acquisition

  • Promote and sell Tracker products through outbound calls and other communication channels.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Generate leads and follow up on customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions that add value.
  • Apply innovative sales techniques to convert prospects into loyal customers.

Customer Retention & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Upsell and cross-sell existing products to current customers to maximise value.
  • Ensure customer service standards are consistently upheld in every interaction.
  • Handle customer complaints, resolve issues effectively, and ensure satisfaction.

Operational Support & Administration

  • Accurately record and maintain details of all customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide feedback on sales trends, challenges, and customer needs to management.
  • Keep updated with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Assist with campaign-related activities, ensuring consistency in messaging and outcomes.

Team Contribution & Flexibility

  • Contribute positively to a motivated and competitive sales team environment.
  • Be prepared to work overtime or Saturdays as required by management.
  • Support colleagues where necessary to ensure team targets are met.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:

  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
  • 1–2 years’ outbound sales experience in a call centre environment.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong computer literacy, including the ability to use CRM systems and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and customer engagement skills.
  • High typing speed and accurate data capturing abilities.
  • Analytical thinking skills to understand customer needs and market trends.
  • A persuasive, competitive, and target-driven personality.
