Role Overview

SASSA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Grants Administrator to oversee grant applications, policy compliance, and team supervision at the Thabong Local Office. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient distribution of social grants to qualifying beneficiaries.

Minimum Requirements

  • Senior Certificate plus NQF Level 6 qualification recognized by SAQA
  • 3+ years of experience in Grants Administration

Key Duties

  • Verify and approve grant applications and supporting documentation

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cycle counts and monthly stock takes; investigate variances
  • Apply FIFO stock rotation, monitor shelf life, and manage write-offs
  • Perform routine audits and quality control inspections
  • Oversee inter-depot transfers, stock reconciliations, and SAP processes
  • Reduce inventory losses, support OTIF delivery, and manage forklift staff
  • Compile and report on variances, claims, and performance indicators
